I love the Hondas from this period. The transition from the 80’s to the 90’s brought the softening of lines and addition of more curves. We were moving into the actual future and away from what we thought it would be. Integrated headlamps and double-wishbone suspension was like time traveling in Star Trek.

These are just a continuation of the Honda piece I had started earlier in the year. I wanted to evoke the joy of driving these cars through the use of saturated colors that complimented each car. I tend toward bright, brilliant colors so it fit my style. While the hatchback was repurposed and upgraded, the CR-X was built from the ground up and shares only the stock wheels from the base Civic. As usual, details were important, from the wheels to the rear window wiper, so study of reference was a must and made me want to hunt one of these down for sale.
